PLACE Workshop is a landscape architecture studio based in Cincinnati, Ohio, dedicated to the design of meaningful outdoor environments. The practice emerged from a belief that landscape architecture and urban design deserve a more intentional, design-first approach—one that treats the public realm as a critical extension of the built environment.
PLACE Workshop designs spaces that exist between and beyond buildings, where the physical structure of a place and the sensory experiences it evokes are inseparable. Our work is grounded in an exploration of form, material, color, and light, carefully calibrated to support use, movement, and atmosphere. Each project is shaped by its context and refined through an emphasis on functionality, environmental performance, and long-term sustainability, resulting in landscapes that are both expressive and enduring.
